In dispute resolution practice, Thamer has right of audience before the Primary and Appeals' court of Oman and continuously appears before local and international arbitral tribunals in both institutional and ad-hoc proceedings. He advises and represents a range of international, regional, and Omani clients in many legal aspects including, regulatory, commercial, construction, employment, banking and Islamic finance-related disputes.
In the non-contentious practice, Thamer has significant experience in advising on regulatory, corporate, real estate and banking & finance in complex projects and public-private partnerships in the power, oil and gas, water, waste-water and infrastructure sectors in the Sultanate of Oman, both from Clients’, Sponsors’ and Lenders’ end.
