Our lawyers have in-depth knowledge of all issues relating to planning, construction and engineering, direct and indirect investment, funds, real estate and property finance, taxation, development, securitization, dispute resolution, environment and regulatory matters.

We played a crucial role in the development of the “Usufruct Agreement” in the Sultanate. Selected projects

Advised a Government owned company on share purchase from JV Partners in Project Development Company for an ITC project on the coast of Oman. The work comprised reviewing the Shareholders Agreement, Land Transfer and Commitment Agreement, memoranda of understanding, Articles of Association of the project company as wel as advising the client on how to buy out its JV Partners shares in the Project Company and assisting with the preparation of the Share Sale and Purchase Agreement.
Advised a large Omani investment company on several matters such as drafting their development agreement, usufruct agreement, financing matters- facility agreements, planning, construction and engineering, investment, tax, litigation, environmental issues, socio-economic impact surveys, management agreements, franchise agreements, technical service agreements, consultancy agreements, disputes with consultants, sale and purchase agreements and other project management related agreements with respect to a large mixed real-estate project.
Advising a governmental owned entity on real estate development project in a prime location in Muscat. SASLO scope includes advising on several matters such as drafting their development agreement, usufruct agreement, financing matters- facility agreements, planning, construction and engineering, investment, tax, litigation, environmental issues, socio-economic impact surveys, management agreements, franchise agreements, technical service agreements, consultancy agreements, disputes with consultants, sale and purchase agreements and other project management related agreements with respect to the proposed development project.
Acting as a lead legal advisor to Government body on development of a mixed-use real estate project in partnership with an international real estate developer on a Build-Own-Operate-Transfer (BOOT) basis.
