Graham is a Special Counsel leading Banking and Real Estate practice in SASLO’s Corporate Team.

Graham has over 35+ years of international banking and finance and corporate commercial experience gained in South Africa, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Australia and Sultanate of Oman including as a Partner of MinterEllison, the largest Australasian law firm.

Graham has been working in Oman since April 2011 and is known for his commercial and pragmatic approach and ability to close deals on time and within budget. He has a track record of delivering high quality legal services that meets clients’ requirements. He has acted for domestic and international banks, companies and financial institutions on a range of complex financial transactions including cross-border leasing and capital market transactions, aircraft and ship finance, syndicated and bilateral secured and unsecured lending, leverage, private equity, derivatives, acquisition, real estate and project finance transactions. He has acted as Omani counsel for sponsors and lenders on a number of project finance transactions for the construction of electricity generation and desalination plants.

Graham advises various banks and finance companies on a variety of issues: including company law/corporate governance issues, product development, new laws, updating standard documents, banker/customer issues, contractual disputes, regulatory compliance, anti-money laundering/bribery/corruption laws, privacy and data protection, enforcement action and rights, powers, and remedies under security documents.
